Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition Dump

Last Sunday, i went to the Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition at Pavilion Bukit Jalil with Syaza and my lil bro, Syamim. I have never watched the anime, nor read the manga. So a week before that i try to make an effort la, by watching the anime just to know certain important characters. But who knows- I'M INVESTED. Megumi is now a new character on my delulu list. Even Syaza approves; my taste in 2D man is so consistent lol. I also learn some of his hand signs, despite my stiff fingers. A+ for the effort lol.

There are three packages with different benefits, and you can purchase it online. We want to buy the cheapest ones, which is RM20 package, but the online price is RM21, so we chose to walk-in instead. It took some time for the walk-in line. After awhile, we managed to buy it with RM20 each at the counter, plus RM6 service charge damnit, so total RM66. So i guess it is better to buy it online; cheaper and faster.

For this package, we got to choose a drink and given a coaster. I chose Megumi drink, doesn't matter what kinda combination is kiwi and cucumber? But it tastes good though. There's also something chewy in that drink, maybe boba. The cafe and the exhibition and merchandise sections are quite near. There's an assistant who will check the receipt at the exhibition section entry, so don't lose the receipt. Inside, there's nothing much honestly. There are few JJK characters' cardboards, and that's it. Only blindfolded Gojo, we want him with his eyeglasses at least no Panda, no Nanami. As long as there's Megumi hehe.

And, more cardboards-

We also tried the photo booth. It accepts cash only. RM20 per piece and additional RM10 for another piece. But we only inserted RM20 because we thought we have to insert RM10 later, so the machine printed only one pic lol. The pic is wider than the usual photo booth pic anyway, so i don't really mind. It won't fit in my long wallet.

Lastly, I ended up buying a poster of Megumi for RM20. Impulse buying. Can't help it, he looks so cool on the display. The others are too pricey, so a poster is enough. There's also a conditional lucky draw; win a photocard. At the time, there are only photocards of Gojo and Yuji. Rather than drew the card, the assistant just told us to pick one, so i picked Gojo.

Overall, i personally rate 6/10 for the experience. There is Megumi (lol), my drink is tasty, the service is good, the ambiance in the cafe is pretty cool, despite the limited spaces in photo and merchandise sections. Not to mention, the freakin cardboards. But i guess this worth my spending. This event is until 27th July 2024. So if you are a fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, you'll probably want to check out the original merchandises and might as well enjoy the exhibition too!
